Though I've had an interest in houseplants for many years, in the last few years our collection has bloomed both literally and figuratively. Though very far from being an expert, I do have a decent collection of Rex Begonias and am beginning to expand my African Violets. Here are a few of my favorite houseplants. At the bottom of the page are a few sources.
And on a separate page are some specimens from our terrarium which contains carnivorous plants and an orchid.
Here are three views of a Sarracenia blossom.

There are many plant dealers on the Web. I have no connection with any of the below other than that of satisfied customer.
The Violet Barn is a fairly local (near Naples NY) source of African Violets and various other plants.
Logee's Greenhouse, in eastern Connecticut, has a large begonia collection and is a great place to visit.
California Carnivores has the world's largest carnivorous plant collection. My plants arrived in the dead of winter, carefully wrapped, and in good condition.
